He's also starting to really want to sit on his own. When you put him down on his back he now tries to pull himself back up to a sitting position. It makes it harder to burp him on your lap because he won't stay doubled over anymore. He wants to straighten his back and sit up all the way. He also is taking a lot of notice of us eating at the table now. He follows the food going to our mouths with is eyes very intently and smacks his little lips while we chew. He's still too little for solids, but, as with everything else, he's already ready to try.
